AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring the cloud runs smoothly. This role supports all AWS data centers and the associated equipment, tackling complex challenges within the supply chain. The position is part of a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers. Collaboration across AWS is key to maintaining high standards of safety and security while delivering scalable and cost-effective solutions for customers. The Data Center Project Engineer will contribute to constructing Amazon Data Centers, focusing on energy-efficient and cost-effective designs. This role involves working closely with partner teams such as Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning. The Project Engineer will support teams building electrical and mechanical systems, working on-site daily with construction managers and stakeholders to ensure fast, high-quality data center construction. Responsibilities include owning communication and coordination with vendors, managing information workflow, and handling document management, including RFIs, change orders, reports, and schedule updates.
