GAI is seeking a Project Engineer 2 (transmission line) to join our Power Delivery team. Required skills include transmission line design experience, critical thinking, problem solving, organization, team-focus, and eagerness to apply learned engineering principles to solve real life problems. Candidates with a minimum of 1-year of experience and knowledge in PLS-CADD are eligible for remote work. Candidates without PLS-CADD knowledge need to be based at any GAI office on-site or on a hybrid schedule. The Project Engineer 2 is responsible for technical leadership and the successful delivery of transmission line designs while maintaining the scope, schedule, budget, and quality of projects within GAI’s Transmission & Distribution Division. This individual should be technically focused and a strong leader with developed technical, communication, and computer skills. Applies progressively acquired expertise to resolve crucial issues and/or unique conditions. Keeps informed of new methods and developments affecting their practice and recommends new practices or changes in emphasis of projects. Leads projects of moderate complexity and scope or leads a major project. Analyzes complex problems across specialty areas appropriate to the practice of engineering. Analyzes ethical dilemmas to determine appropriate courses of action.
