About The Position

The Project ECHO Specialist is responsible for the planning, coordination, implementation, and ongoing support of Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) programs and initiatives. This role serves as the operational lead for ECHO activities, facilitating collaboration among healthcare providers, subject matter experts, community partners, and participants to improve knowledge sharing, workforce development, and access to specialty expertise. The Project ECHO Specialist supports the development and delivery of virtual learning networks designed to improve clinical practice, expand provider confidence and competency, reduce health disparities, and enhance health outcomes across communities. The Specialist manages program logistics, participant engagement, data collection, reporting, and stakeholder relationships while ensuring successful execution of ECHO sessions and achievement of program objectives.

Requirements

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in healthcare, public health, program coordination, medical education, workforce development, community health, project management, or a related field.
Experience coordinating meetings, educational programs, events, or multidisciplinary initiatives.
Experience working with healthcare professionals, community organizations, or healthcare systems.
Experience coordinating multiple projects, initiatives, and priorities simultaneously.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to coordinate multiple projects, initiatives, and priorities simultaneously.
Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
Ability to establish timelines, monitor progress, and ensure successful completion of deliverables.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.

Responsibilities

Coordinate all aspects of Project ECHO programming, including planning, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement activities.
Develop and maintain program work plans, timelines, schedules, and deliverables.
Coordinate ECHO session calendars and ensure alignment with organizational, grant, and strategic objectives.
Monitor program progress and identify opportunities to enhance effectiveness and participant engagement.
Coordinate preparation and execution of virtual ECHO sessions, case-based learning activities, educational programs, and workshops.
Schedule and communicate with faculty, clinical experts, presenters, and participants.
Develop and distribute agendas, educational resources, participant communications, and session materials.
Facilitate session logistics, attendance tracking, participant engagement, and documentation.
Support presenters and faculty in preparing educational content and case presentations.
Assist with session moderation and participant interaction during virtual learning events.
Recruit healthcare providers, community organizations, and stakeholders to participate in ECHO programs.
Develop outreach and communication strategies to increase participation and program awareness.
Serve as the primary point of contact for participants and partners.
Provide ongoing participant support, onboarding, and technical assistance.
Foster collaborative learning and professional networking opportunities.
Monitor participation trends and implement strategies to improve engagement and retention.
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with healthcare organizations, community-based organizations, public health agencies, educational institutions, and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with partners to identify educational priorities and workforce development needs.
Promote Project ECHO programs through presentations, outreach activities, community events, and professional meetings.
Support development of new ECHO initiatives that address community health priorities, workforce gaps, and population health needs.
Collect, maintain, and analyze program data, including attendance, participation, evaluations, outcomes, and performance metrics.
Administer participant surveys and outcome evaluations.
Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership, stakeholders, and funding organizations.
Monitor program Rural Health Transformation Program metrics, performance indicators and support data-driven decision-making.
Maintain accurate program documentation and records.
