About The Position

Currently, we are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Project Draftsman to join our dynamic team. As the Project Draftsman, you will be integral to executing the drafting process, ensuring the precision and accuracy of our custom millwork designs. Requirements

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or related field experience preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural drafting, preferably in the millwork industry.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.).
Strong understanding of millwork construction methods, materials, and building codes.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Cabinet Design Software (Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, Mozaik) preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed drawings and plans for custom millwork projects using CAD and/or Microvellum software.
Interpret and develop technical drawings based on project specifications, blueprints, and architectural designs.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure designs meet project requirements.
Review and revise drawings as necessary to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with industry standards.
Coordinate with the production team to facilitate a smooth transition from design to fabrication.
Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and project documentation.
Conduct quality checks on drawings to identify and correct any discrepancies.
