An employee-owned general contractor is seeking a Project Director to provide senior-level leadership and oversight for electrical execution on complex heavy industrial and infrastructure projects throughout the Southeast. The company has more than 80 years of experience and approximately $500 million in annual revenue. Its Heavy Industrial division works in power generation, hydro, chemical, battery storage, water/wastewater, and renewable energy, with significant self-perform capabilities and a strong project backlog. This is a corporate-based leadership role with limited travel to support clients and project teams. The Project Director oversees electrical execution from estimating and preconstruction through installation, commissioning, and closeout, and leads Electrical Project Managers, Superintendents, General Foremen, and self-perform electrical teams. The role is suited to a leader with operational responsibility beyond individual project management, including experience in self-performed electrical construction, project financial management, field operations, and multi-project oversight. The position offers a base salary of $175,000–$225,000, an opportunity for an annual bonus, and an employee ownership opportunity through the ESOP. It also offers the opportunity to lead a growing electrical construction operation and influence its operations, talent development, project execution, and business growth.
