The Project Director is the senior leader of AAD BSEOC, a five-year federal TRIO Educational Opportunity Center serving 1,000 eligible adults and youth age 19 and older each year in the I-95 / U.S.-1 corridor from Deerfield Beach to central Fort Lauderdale. The Director is responsible for the project's results on its four federal objectives: 30% secondary-diploma completion, 72% college admission applications, 56% financial aid applications, and 62% postsecondary enrollment. The Director runs day-to-day operations, supervises staff, manages the $280,000 annual federal budget, oversees four subgrant partners (Top Score Tutors, AI Guys, CBI Hub, Career Bound Institute), and represents the project to the U.S. Department of Education, institutional partners, and the community. The position requires full command of TRIO regulations, federal grants management, and the Florida postsecondary and workforce landscape, including Registered Apprenticeships and Workforce Pell.
