About The Position

Catholic Charities Community Services (CCCS) is seeking a Project Director to join our dedicated team. The Project Director will serve in a pivotal role in supporting programs and sub-grantees aimed at improving the well-being of individuals and communities. Reporting to the Chief Program Officer, the Project Director will directly manage the Project Coordinator and provide strategic direction and coordination among partners to ensure the successful delivery of key milestones and deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in grants or program administration.
  • A track record of successful end-to-end project management.
  • Proven versatility, flexibility, and ability to manage multiple projects and several priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and sound decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to strategize, conceptualize, plan, and critically analyze grantmaking and other programmatic opportunities for the agency.
  • A track record of working cooperatively and positively with colleagues to drive results.
  • Excellent verbal and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Offices tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Experience in a nonprofit, foundation, social services, healthcare, faith-based, or public-sector organization.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of the LUCHA Initiative, working closely with CCCS leadership, partner organizations, and key stakeholders to drive progress and success of strategic goals.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with existing and new stakeholders, strengthening partnership with the Coalition and the Foundation’s visibility and credibility.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive timeline for CCCS, including programming, partnerships, activations, convenings, thought leadership, and other strategic activities.
  • Represent the CCCS externally through public engagement, events, media and other opportunities.
  • Work with sub-grantees to define work scopes, identify key changes, and other related matters to support the successful completion of program goals.
  • Manage grantmaking timelines, workflows, and internal coordination for grantmaking strategies and initiatives, and ensure alignment with program goals and deadlines.
  • Attend programmatic events & activities and site visits to ensure programmatic deliverables are being met.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with portfolio of grantees, providing progress notes on deliverables, and troubleshoot any escalations with the overall delivery of goals.
  • Support the Communications and Marketing team in communicating about grantees’ work, progress, and impact.
