About The Position

The Project Director owns portfolio customer relationships, operational excellence, and team leadership for an assigned area. The role oversees resources and logistics for customer-site services and maintenance activities, including preventive and remedial maintenance, repairs, and refurbishment of sold or existing products. It influences budgets and operating plans and operates with autonomy within its area, guided by operating policy and working across functions. The position requires evaluative judgment and operational acumen, and may have a major impact on a small business unit or a functional family or P&L. Typically a second-line manager with senior professional direct reports, the role attracts and retains talent and often manages medium to large teams. It applies functional expertise and professional or thought leadership, influences policy, and ensures delivery across its area while linking with other parts of the organization. The Project Director interprets business challenges and industry trends, recommends practices to improve products, processes, and services, and leads others in solving complex operational or manufacturing challenges. The role may lead moderately complex functional teams or projects, present solutions to leaders, and influence or negotiate with internal stakeholders and, where appropriate, external partners, vendors, or customers. GE Vernova describes a remote work arrangement. The U.S. pay range is $140,300 to $233,800, with geographic differentials in certain areas. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage; a 24/7 nurse-based Health Coach resource; Employee Assistance Program; retirement savings plan with company matching and retirement contributions; tuition assistance; adoption assistance; paid parental leave; disability benefits; life insurance; 12 paid holidays; and permissive time off. Relocation assistance is not provided. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and an offer is contingent on successful completion of a drug screen where applicable. The application deadline is October 22, 2026.
