About The Position

SYSTRA delivers architecture, engineering, construction, and program management services to clients in public transportation, public education, and public housing. We are seeking a Project Director who is a seasoned design professional with a proven track record of successfully leading major design contracts involving Track and OCS design principles. This executive-level role requires strategic thinking and a long-term vision, guiding multiple teams through all project phases.

Requirements

At least 15 years of experience in rail delivery projects of similar size, scope, and complexity, including high-speed rail.
Advanced understanding of their professional discipline.
Experienced at the executive level in the field of rail system engineering.
Specifically overseeing Track and OCS design activities for high-speed rail projects.
Must be on-site in the client field office every week.

Responsibilities

Act as the senior member of the Consultant and have negotiation and signing authority for the prime consultant and all subconsultants.
Provide guidance and oversight to multiple teams working on numerous products.
Lead the Consultants through all project phases.
Think strategically and maintain a long-term goal in mind.
