About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Project Director Divisional Operations in Raleigh, NC. This role provides project management guidance and assistance directly to VP level and above on a broad range of business issues of a complex nature. The position supports officers of the company and/or project managers by providing specialized technical expertise in appropriate project need areas. The Project Director will work with significant autonomy and require only casual supervision. This role will engage in leading Divisional M/A project activity and lead Divisional projects that their SVP is involved with. Additionally, the Project Director will lead projects external from Labcorp with Health Systems and other large customers, engaging with C-suite executives in customer offices. This is a multi-discipline title and may have supervisory responsibility over other Project Administrators. The role involves reviewing and assessing various courses of action to provide an improved basis for management decisions, and advising and assisting project team members in the application of project procedures, disciplines, and recording and reporting standards. The Project Director will coordinate internal resources and 3rd parties/vendors for successful execution of projects, assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility, define tasks and required resources, develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress, ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. The role also involves tracking project performance, specifically to analyze successful completion of short- and long-term goals, and measuring project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • PMP Certification

Responsibilities
