About The Position

XYZ Reality are the creators of the world's first and only engineering-grade Augmented Reality solution, purpose built for the construction industry. Not only have we created this holographic technology, that sits within The Atom — a smart, site-safe headset/hardhat — but we implement it on projects, utilising the power of AR to ensure that all schemes are completed in line with delivery timescales and budgets. XYZ has grown to over 100 staff across the UK, US & Europe and is working with Mission Critical organisations & construction companies to successfully deliver major projects.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing multi-site field delivery operations in a technical or construction environment.
  • Strong people management skills — experienced in hiring, developing, and managing geographically dispersed teams.
  • Solid understanding of construction workflows, BIM models, and site engineering practices.
  • Willing and able to travel to project sites across the US; able to pass background and drug screening requirements.
  • Excellent client relationship skills — able to operate credibly with senior stakeholders on major construction projects, including GC, EPC, EPCM, and Owner's Engineer contractual arrangements.
  • Strong commercial acumen — comfortable owning P&L targets and identifying opportunities to grow accounts within an existing client base.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong written and verbal communication skills suited to both site teams and executive stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AR, BIM, or digital construction technology — desirable but not essential; curiosity and aptitude to learn counts for a lot.
  • Knowledge of industry cost and schedule management tools (Primavera P6, Oracle/SAP, EcoSys) and/or ISO 45001 or equivalent H&S management systems — desirable.
  • Qualification in project management (PMP, APM, PRINCE2) or a construction/engineering discipline — desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Own regional portfolio delivery end-to-end — mobilise new US projects, lead resource planning and hiring, manage field teams across all active sites, and conduct regular site visits, audits, and team check-ins.
  • Serve as the primary client escalation point above the Lead Site Engineer — own project-level relationships, conduct regular client meetings and site visits, and identify opportunities for service expansion.
  • Review QA reports and progress captures before client submission; troubleshoot product and software issues in the field and escalate to technical support where required.
  • Maintain overall responsibility for the health, safety, and welfare of the regional field team — drive H&S in alignment with XYZ's ISO 45001 management system and ensure all engineers hold valid credentials and pass pre-deployment compliance requirements.
  • Manage team performance, welfare, annual leave, and inter-project resource moves; deliver Lunch & Learn sessions and workshops to drive platform adoption and deepen client engagement.
  • Own P&L accountability at both project and portfolio level; support Sales, Marketing, and Product teams through events, content review, and development meetings.
