Project Delivery Lead

WELL Health Technologies Corp
$110,000 - $140,000Remote

About The Position

WELL Health Technologies is an innovative technology-enabled healthcare company focused on improving health outcomes through technology. They offer a practitioner enablement platform that includes practice management, virtual care, digital patient engagement, EMR, RCM, and data protection services. WELL operates Canada's largest network of outpatient medical clinics and a leading multi-national telehealth offering. The company is publicly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX: WELL). This role reports to the Senior Director, Business Transformation and is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of ThinkWELL, WELL Health’s enterprise intelligence, analytics, and automation platform. ThinkWELL is a multi-year platform delivered through use cases involving business owners, data engineering, platform architecture, AI and application engineering, security, and transformation partners. The Project Delivery Lead will translate priorities into an integrated delivery plan, coordinate work across various teams, and manage initiatives from build through business validation, launch, and value review. This includes staying close to the work, challenging assumptions, identifying risks, coordinating releases (UAT, launch readiness, training, communications, post-go-live support, value measurement), and ensuring teams have the necessary support for progress. This is a senior individual contributor role with no direct reports, fully remote, and open to candidates across Canada.

Requirements

  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional technology or project delivery (technical project delivery, technology programs, PMO, agile delivery, consulting, or related area).
  • Ability to turn broad outcomes into practical, sequenced plans with clear ownership, dependencies, acceptance criteria, capacity considerations, and release forecasts.
  • Working understanding of data, analytics, AI, and application delivery.
  • Ability to confidently engage with technical teams about dependencies, estimates, risks, and readiness.
  • Experience running delivery cadences, maintaining project plans and delivery tools, and managing risks, issues, dependencies, actions, and decisions.
  • Ability to produce clear, evidence-based reporting that gives stakeholders an accurate view of progress, confidence, and what needs attention.
  • Experience coordinating activities such as UAT, business sign-off, release readiness, launch, adoption, support, and value measurement in partnership with business and technical teams.
  • Ability to create accountability and move work forward across teams that do not report to you.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to challenge, collaborate, recommend a path forward, or escalate to get the decisions delivery depends on.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with monday.com, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
  • Exposure to data, analytics, AI, or enterprise platform delivery, particularly within Microsoft’s data and AI ecosystem.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar data and analytics platforms.
  • Experience working in a fast-growing or evolving organization where delivery structures and processes are still taking shape.

Responsibilities

  • Drive integrated delivery planning by translating ThinkWELL priorities into a clear, integrated delivery plan and backlog across platform foundations and business use cases.
  • Maintain a rolling six-week view of owners, dependencies, target dates, and capacity assumptions to provide visibility into progress and areas needing attention.
  • Keep delivery moving by running sprint planning, stand-ups, capacity and dependency reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Keep monday.com current as the reliable source of delivery commitments and progress, ensuring teams have clarity on priorities, ownership, and next steps.
  • Create accountability by challenging unclear estimates, unsupported status updates, and stalled work, verifying completion against agreed acceptance evidence.
  • Develop recovery plans or escalate early with a clear view of impact, options, and recommended path forward when delivery moves off track.
  • Coordinate releases from validation through launch by bringing business and technical owners together to prepare releases for users, coordinating UAT and sign-off, launch cohorts, training and communications, cutover, support, and hypercare.
  • Ensure each release is ready to launch and that early value can be measured.
  • Bring clarity to risks and decisions by maintaining visibility into risks, issues, actions, dependencies, and decisions with clear owners and timelines.
  • Identify potential roadblocks early and bring the right people together to resolve them before they affect broader delivery.
  • Provide clear delivery insight to leadership by preparing concise reporting and Steering Committee materials for the Senior Director, providing visibility into completed work, forecast dates and confidence, capacity, risks, decisions, launch readiness, and early evidence of value.

Benefits

  • Meaningful ownership over how work moves forward.
  • Influence over how priorities are sequenced, what evidence demonstrates completion, and when releases are ready.
  • Enterprise-wide impact by working across multiple teams.
  • Visibility into both the technology being built and how it is used across the organization.
  • Opportunity to shape delivery processes as WELL moves toward a Platform Operations model.
  • Opportunity to strengthen planning, release coordination, delivery visibility, and accountability.
