Requirements

• Good knowledge of cost control and budget monitoring principles.
• Good understanding of CAPEX and OPEX concepts.
• Proficiency in monitoring commitments, expenditures, forecasts and budget variances.
• Good command of Excel and reporting tools.
• Ability to analyze financial data and produce reliable reports.
• Rigor, organization and ability to monitor multiple budgets and stakeholders.
• Good communication and coordination skills with Budget Owners and operational teams.

• Ideally in an industrial, mining or project environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the monitoring of CAPEX and OPEX budgets for the site's projects and activities.
• Ensure the monitoring of the budgets of the different Budget Owners and ensure their consumption in accordance with the approved budgets.
• Monitor commitments, actual expenditures, forecasts and budget balances.
• Analyze variances between the budget, commitments and actual expenditures and alert stakeholders in case of deviations.
• Prepare and update cost and budget monitoring dashboards.
• Consolidate budget data and contribute to the preparation of periodic reports.
• Monitor expenditure forecasts and identify potential risks of overspending or under-consumption.
• Support Budget Owners in monitoring their budgets and ensuring the reliability of expenditure data.
• Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, Project and operational teams to ensure reliable budget monitoring.
