About The Position

WECTEC Staffing Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, is seeking a Project Coordinator to join an innovative team supporting Westinghouse's mission to provide clean energy solutions. This is a 1-year contract position based in Lakewood, CO, operating under a hybrid work model. The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting internal business operations by reconciling backlog work orders and completing assigned tasks. Responsibilities include reviewing, processing, and tracking work orders, as well as coordinating with various internal departments such as HR, compensation, and hiring managers. This role offers a flexible schedule and an opportunity to gain valuable experience within the power and utility industry.

Requirements

  • Utility background
  • 3+ years of experience with SAP
  • High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

  • Review backlog work orders according to internal guidelines
  • Work through assigned task lists, completing items
  • Communicate with internal coordinators and team members to gather missing information or resolve discrepancies
  • Use Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Outlook, and Teams to track progress and maintain documentation
  • Collaborate with other coordinators while operating as an independent contributor
