The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the successful delivery of projects by assisting Project Managers with day-to-day project work, contributing to team leadership, and engaging in personal development opportunities. Other responsibilities include: Perform day-to-day project work by coordinating tasks with contractors to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and within the defined scope. Support the development and execution of project plans under the guidance of Project Managers or senior staff. Prepare and attending project-related meetings and taking detailed notes. Stay organized by managing tasks, keeping track of deadlines and maintaining project files. Review project drawings, specifications, and contractor submittals with supervision to ensure alignment with project scope and quality standards. Monitor project scope, schedule, and budget variances, escalating issues to Project Managers or senior staff for corrective actions. Conduct daily site visits to assist in monitoring construction progress and quality of work. Foster a teamwork approach by collaborating effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders Contribute to quality internal work and project approach strategies as directed by senior leadership. Stay informed about industry trends, client needs, and competitor activities to support the firm’s reputation and thought leadership. Participate in on-the-job training and pursue learning opportunities, such as internal workshops or industry certifications, to support professional growth. Remain aware of training and guidance initiatives for other team members, supporting company-wide development efforts as needed. Understand, adhere and participate in the Raba Kistner Health and Safety and (BBS) Programs and set a good safety example. Support project teams by following directions, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to team goals. Recognize potential conflicts and escalate it to senior staff for resolution. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints, inventory control, process improvement, project coordination, etc.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license within the applicable jurisdiction and meet company’s auto insurability requirements.
  • Must be a member of the Catawba Two Kings Tribe.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules and maintain basic understanding of construction principles and methods relevant to the project type (e.g., commercial, residential, infrastructure).
  • Good oral and written communications skills and ability to work in teams at different levels within the organization.
  • Able to project outcomes to avoid potential problems.
  • Intermediate in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Must be self-motivated with good attendance record and be able to work independently.
  • Demonstrate ability to work efficiently while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
