About The Position

Adams, Inc. has been in the electrical contracting field since 1988, and currently serving customers at seven locations throughout Wisconsin and Illinois. We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Residential Electrical team on-site in Elkhorn, WI. This is a first-shift, Monday - Friday position. The pay range for this role is based strictly on recent, relevant experience, ranging from $21 - $28/hr. The Project Coordinator manages key customer accounts, creates estimates, and oversees project management within specific trades. This role focuses on front-end planning and overall project management, working closely with Support Specialists who handle detailed administrative tasks. The Project Coordinator ensures the successful initiation, planning, and execution of projects by leveraging trade-specific knowledge, managing client relationships, and coordinating with various departments. The ideal candidate is strategic, client-focused, and able to manage multiple projects and accounts simultaneously.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience in project coordination or management
  • Strong planning, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Ensure estimates and project plans are accurate and transparent.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in client interactions.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Support team collaboration and communication across departments.
  • Provide guidance and support to Support Specialists.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Production, and Finance for project execution.
  • Serve as liaison between clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular account reviews and identify growth opportunities.
  • Demonstrate proactive problem-solving and strategic thinking.
  • Maintain a client-focused and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Adapt to changing project needs and priorities.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Monitor project performance and ensure quality deliverables.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure responsible use of resources and accurate documentation.
  • Maintain organized records and project data.
  • Stay current with trade-specific regulations and best practices.
  • Must be willing and able to perform ambiguous office duties as needed, which may include: signing for deliveries, placing deliveries in the warehouse, light office cleaning as needed, assist with purchasing and stocking office supplies, etc.
