Requirements

  • 2+ years of Project Coordination experience in heavy civil or infrastructure construction
  • Experience supporting projects involving: Sewer & watermain, Underground utilities, Road construction, Deep excavation, Municipal or infrastructure projects
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced construction environments
  • Proficient with construction documentation and project coordination processes
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office and project management software
  • Team-oriented with a proactive and professional attitude
  • Willingness to travel and work rotational project schedules

Nice To Haves

  • Civil Engineering Technology diploma, Construction Engineering, or related education is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers and Superintendents with day-to-day project coordination
  • Assist with project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress tracking
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and material deliveries
  • Maintain project schedules, reports, and tracking logs
  • Assist with cost tracking, budgeting, and quantity take-offs
  • Support procurement and project administration activities
  • Attend site meetings and assist with project communication between office and field teams
  • Ensure project documentation is current and organized
  • Assist with health & safety documentation and compliance requirements
  • Help identify and resolve project coordination issues proactively
  • Support project closeout and turnover activities
