About The Position

Wood Rodgers, a leading engineering consulting firm, is hiring Project Coordinator to join our Survey Department. We seek an organized and resourceful individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Top candidates will effectively manage time, attention, and resources to tackle tasks sequentially and with focus on quality. This is a staffed, hourly, non-exempt position.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience; primarily in project coordination or administrative roles, preferably in land surveying or civil engineering setting.
  • Professional, friendly, organized, and capable of working independently and collaboratively, including interactions with public agencies.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Highly professional, excellent communication skills, organized, and approachable.
  • A valid driver’s license and be able to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly.
  • Notary Public certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate mapping submittals, track and obtain Conditions of Approvals, scheduling signing appointments, and manage correspondence among multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and submit required survey forms and applications in support of mapping activities.
  • Monitor and manage field supplies, equipment, and company trucks, including ordering materials and coordinating routine maintenance and service scheduling.
  • Monitor multiple projects simultaneously and proactively communicate status updates and next steps to keep the department aligned.
