About The Position

Jack Laurie Group is hiring a Project Coordinator to support our growing Commercial Construction team in Indianapolis. If you have experience in construction administration, project coordination, submittals, or project support, this is an opportunity to join a stable, team-focused company with consistent work and long-term growth. This role is critical to keeping projects organized, on schedule, and running efficiently from start to finish.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in: Project Coordinator, Construction Administrator, Project Assistant, Construction Office Support
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Experience with construction submittals, RFIs, or closeouts preferred
  • CRM or project management software experience (Zoho is a plus)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Commercial construction environment
  • Flooring, interiors, or subcontractor experience
  • Basic understanding of construction project lifecycle

Responsibilities

  • Manage submittals from start to finish (creation, tracking, revisions, approvals)
  • Coordinate material samples, shop drawings, and product data
  • Work with Project Managers and vendors to ensure timely approvals
  • Maintain accurate documentation in project systems
  • Assemble and deliver project closeout packages
  • Collect warranties, product data, and final documentation
  • Ensure all required documents are completed and submitted on time
  • Support Project Managers with daily project coordination tasks
  • Track project progress, deadlines, and documentation
  • Assist with client communication and deliverables
  • Deliver samples or documents to job sites or client offices as needed
  • Update and maintain CRM and project tracking systems (Zoho preferred)
  • Run reports and track submittals, closeouts, and project status
  • Ensure data accuracy and organization across all projects
