About The Position

This position will provide support to the Clara D. Bloomfield Center for Leukemia Outcomes Research in collecting and recording patient data into the OSU Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), Myelodyplastic syndrome (MDS) and Myeloid Disorder Registry databases. This individual will be responsible for reviewing charts for retrospective patients and documenting datapoints outlined by projects in the Bloomfield Center. They will also assist with upkeep and maintenance of records for previously enrolled patients over time. They will maintain records and help to ensure that data is collected with a high level of integrity. They will assist with quality control of data entered by collaborating sites into the Outcomes Research Consortium database and the OSU AML, MDS and Myeloid Disorder databases. This individual would assist in research collaborations, participate in meetings and give progress reports to the data manager.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Successful completion of a background check is required.
  • Qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
  • Provide three to five references.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Experience with data collection, associated privacy rules and research protocol requirements is preferred.
