About The Position

At Hamtil Construction, we specialize in residential remodeling, delivering exceptional craftsmanship and top-notch customer service. We are looking for a dedicated Project Coordinator to join our team and support the successful execution of our remodeling projects. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, communicative, and experienced in overseeing construction projects from start to finish.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience in residential remodeling, including framing, finish carpentry, and drywall.
  • Familiarity with building codes and specialized trades such as electrical, plumbing, and painting.
  • Ability to read and understand project plans and specifications accurately.
  • Experience managing production workers and coordinating with trade partners.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to clearly communicate with clients, team members, and trade partners.
  • Comfortable with technology, including mobile devices and project management software.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Must be available to work in our South County office from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday (overtime is welcomed).

Responsibilities

  • Schedule Management : Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using JobTread project management software.
  • Resource Allocation : Assign and manage resources, focusing on manpower, followed by tools and company vehicles.
  • Trade Coordination : Schedule trade partners, ensuring timely and efficient project progression.
  • Material Tracking : Monitor and verify the alignment of material orders with the project timeline.
  • Supervision : Oversee trade partners on smaller jobs and ensure quality control.
  • Project Meetings : Attend pre-construction walk-throughs, production meetings, and on-site estimating discussions.
  • Job Progress Monitoring : Review daily logs to track progress, identify change order items, and ensure checklists are used properly.
  • Cost Monitoring : Analyze and review weekly job cost reports for all active projects.
  • Material & Tool Management : Ensure the timely delivery of materials and tools by collaborating with project leads on material take-offs.
