The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Project Coordinator. This is a full-time position with funding through January 30th, 2029. This work-from-home position can be done remotely. The Project Coordinator will support the build and maintenance of a new health care network expansion for outpatient professionals. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of related professional experience involving administrative or project management work.
  • Proficient skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to be proactive.

Nice To Haves

  • Marketing, social media, or communications experience.
  • Experience creating external-facing reports or materials.
  • Experience working in primary care settings or with health care professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate directly with the vendor for the build, design, and user acceptance testing of a primary care health care network.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure scope and functionality meets required contract deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver project timelines, reports, and presentation materials.
  • Collate professional education content from cross-department teams.
  • Design and moderate engaging content that drives interaction with health care professionals on the network.
  • Coordinate meeting scheduling, provide agendas, take notes and communicate points of action.
  • Initiate purchase orders and check requisitions in our financial system. Pay invoices/bills and submit budget transfers as needed.
  • Input and follow-up with contracts, statements of work, amendments, etc. in the American Heart Association Legal system.
  • File management utilizing SharePoint.
  • Other administrative duties as needed for the QORA (Quality, Outcomes, Research & Analytics) team and as assigned by the Sr. Program Consultant or other managers.

  • Compensation – Expected pay range will be $21.90 to $28.10 per hour. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply.
