The Project Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the management of projects from startup to closeout, including but not limited to:

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take instructions from others.
  • Commitment to stay up to date on assigned learning plans to build product knowledge and remain current on new technology, trends and processes.
  • Associate degree (A. A.) or two years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven ability to start and complete tasks and be detail oriented.
  • Willingness to assist in the training and development of other team members.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of computer systems, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Must be a team player and abide OneSource strong core values and beliefs.
  • Required to sit, speak, hear, read, type, use close and distance vision (about 5-8 hours per shift).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the Electrical Distribution or Construction industry preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare submittals for customer and engineering review.
  • Create purchase orders and communicate job release requirements to vendors.
  • Track delivery dates, maintain shipment summary and assist in communicating this information regularly to customers.
  • Assist in maintaining project bill of materials and customer.
  • Help to manage freight claims & return material requests.
  • Perform project close out financial review and address any open items.
  • Utilization of internal programs such as Eclipse& Job Management and an ability to navigate vendor tools necessary to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Assist in maintaining strong communication between the customer, vendors, account manager and project team members. Obtain support from Account Manager or team leader when necessary.
  • Execute project work plans as outlined by your team leader.
  • Manage day‐to‐day operational aspects of a project and scope.
  • Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
  • Understand pricing strategy and billing procedures.
  • Assist in identifying issues, work with team members to resolve issues in a timely fashion and escalate when appropriate.
  • Maintain up to date financial records for all active projects.
  • Monitor and facilitate all Pro Logistics Services activities related to projects under management.
  • Perform any other duties assigned that contribute to customer service, OPCO profitability and company success.
  • Practices good interpersonal relations, using tact, courtesy, a positive attitude toward customers and co-workers, pleasant telephone etiquette, and a general attitude as a representative of goodwill on behalf of the company at work or during company travel.
  • Handles difficulties with customers and co-workers with diplomacy and seeks assistance when needed.
