Requirements

Detail oriented with excellent time management skills.
Able to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated, positive attitude with strong customer service skills.
Self-starter who can work independently with little supervision.
Ability to do take-offs
A college degree and/or equivalent industry experience is requested.
Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Acrobat.

Nice To Haves

Previous project management experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Practices good interpersonal relations, using tact, courtesy, a positive attitude toward customers and co-workers, pleasant telephone and email etiquette, and a general attitude as a representative of goodwill on behalf of the company at work or during company travel.
Handles difficulties with customers and works directly to resolve issues related to fabrication, site preparation etc.
Assists customers with shipping discrepancies and defective materials on job-related orders.
Expedites material when material is needed faster than normal lead times.
Resolves customer order problems and complaints promptly.
Acquires, uses and continuously develops personal technical knowledge of general and specialty merchandise items to assist customers and other company personnel.
Ability to prepare quotations, for customers.
Identifies, uses and maintains appropriate company and/or customer pricing systems.
