The mission of the Department of Law is to serve the citizens of the State of Georgia by providing legal representation of the highest quality to the agencies, officers and employees of state government and by honorably and vigorously carrying out the constitutional and statutory responsibilities of the Attorney General. The position filled through this announcement will serve in the Human Trafficking section of our Prosecution Division. The Project Coordinator will continue and expand a Landlord Engagement Project within the Human Trafficking Unit, under the direction of the Unit Chief. The Analyst will work with partnering groups and agencies to identify Illicit Massage Parlors throughout the State of Georgia and will work with landlords to notify them of their tenants’ activities. Duties include but are not limited to: utilizing databases and social media to conduct independent research; evaluating information provided by partnering agencies and determining the weight of crime indicators; collaborating with state and local agencies; and communicating with landlords. The Project Coordinator will coordinate and further additional projects such as: The Missing Child Model, The Eyes on the Road Campaign, and external engagements. The Project Coordinator will participate in Operation to identify missing juveniles utilizing latest technology.
