This person will work on assignments for various workplaces, school districts, university systems, civic, or other institutional clients. This position is full-time, with full benefits, and based in our Honolulu office. Position is hybrid. Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Persistence and ability to manage up
  • Creative problem solving skills
  • High level of proficiency in Excel
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Proficiency with the Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat)
  • Experience working with and coordinating experts and clients
  • Ability to pivot and learn new software quickly
  • Self-awareness and the ability to analyze past performance and drive self-improvement
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and ask for help when needed
  • Flexibility in collaborating with project teams and clients
  • Ability to receive and clarify feedback and adjust accordingly
  • Kindness and support of colleagues
  • Demonstrated interest in at least one of the following: The relationship between architecture, the natural environment, and culture; The psychology behind human behavior in the built environment; The impact of built environment solutions on community strength, human health, environmental resiliency, or learning outcomes
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, information science, architecture, interior architecture, or a minor in mathematics with 4 years of experience OR an advanced degree with two years of experience

Nice To Haves

  • Fluency with architectural design tools
  • A degree in a design discipline
  • CAPM certification
  • Experience in a consulting, planning, or architectural design environment
  • Experience in a small business environment

Responsibilities

  • Maintain project and project reporting schedule
  • Ensure deliverables are completed and submitted on time
  • Manage client correspondence satisfaction
  • Attend meetings with Project Executive
  • Identify and communicate potential changes and risks to budget and schedule
  • Support in development of work plans and proposals for new projects or scope
  • Support of marketing team
  • File and folder management
  • Support the account executive and project manager in project planning, including establishing and tracking scope, schedule, and budget
  • Research and prepare materials in support of business development
  • Participate in ongoing training
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
