About The Position

The Jones Payne Group is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join their Burlington, Vermont office. This role is ideal for a highly organized individual with strong communication skills who enjoys facilitating complex projects. The Project Coordinator will collaborate with project managers and team members on daily activities, manage project information and documentation, liaise with homeowners and other stakeholders, and ensure project deadlines and requirements are met. The position involves significant interaction with homeowners and the public, requiring a candidate comfortable building relationships, addressing inquiries, managing concerns, and communicating professionally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Six or more years of experience in project coordination, project support, community engagement, or a similar role.
  • Experience working directly with homeowners, clients, or members of the public.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on details.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently when needed.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience working with databases and project information systems.
  • Comfort learning and adapting to new technology and software.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an architecture, engineering, construction, or other professional services environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating project activities, schedules, meetings, and follow-up items.
  • Communicating regularly with homeowners, clients, consultants, and project team members.
  • Supporting community outreach and homeowner coordination activities.
  • Maintaining accurate project records, databases, and documentation.
  • Tracking project progress, outstanding items, and key deadlines.
  • Assisting with project planning, scheduling, and progress reporting.
  • Preparing correspondence, reports, meeting materials, and other project documentation.
  • Working closely with project managers and team members to identify and resolve issues that could affect project progress.
  • Supporting other project and administrative needs as they arise.
