About The Position

The High-Density Housing (HDH) Project Coordinator is a member of the Weyerhaeuser Sales Team and is closely aligned with the Technical Services organization and Operations team. The Project coordinator acts as the single point of contact for the customer and job site during the project construction phase. The HDH Project Coordinator's primary role is ensuring products are delivered to the jobsite on time and in full followed by providing additional support in other aspects of the High Density Housing Team. This role is Monday - Friday in an office, this is not a remote role. Location\: This role can be based out of Tacoma, WA or Albany, OR. What We Offer... Compensation\: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $58,000 - $88,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target. Requirements

  • Customer Service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Project team experience
  • Knowledge of structural frame wood products, including engineered wood
  • Associate degree plus two years minimum professional work experience
  • Familiar with the usage and standards of Auto Cad and/or other C.A.D. software
  • Technical expertise around construction principles and project management of large scale, wood frame, projects
  • Experience with creating complex material take-off lists centered around Engineered wood, floor, roof and wall systems
  • Highly organized, would need to create file structures, documentation, standardization
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge\: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio
  • SAP software experience

Responsibilities

  • Define delivery schedule with jobsite and coordinate deliveries with local Operations team
  • Assess procurement requirements for Weyerhaeuser and third party products and communicate with inventory specialist as appropriate
  • Enter sales orders into the Weyerhaeuser sales system
  • Track sales orders against project value
  • Provide jobsite support for delivery issues, technical and product questions
  • Maintain project specific documentation in SharePoint, Axis and The Vault and meet standardize document control processes in place
  • Archive project information following documented process
  • Manage any revisions or field changes that arise during the shipping process.
  • Review electronic plans rooms for projects – download drawings, specifications and addendum as required
  • Prepare accurate and detailed project take-offs
  • Create a customized quote outlining the specific products being supplied
  • Review with specific issues relating to teaching individual project quotation
  • Assist account representatives in sales presentations.
  • Coordinate drawing requirements with drafting team.
