About The Position

Durwest Construction Management Inc. (Durwest) is hiring a Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of construction projects from mobilization through close-out. This role is central to managing documentation, coordinating communications, and maintaining project workflows to keep teams aligned and projects on track. As a Project Coordinator, you will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and project stakeholders to ensure construction documentation is accurate, up to date, and accessible. Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in a project coordination or construction support role, ideally within commercial, institutional, or multi-family residential projects
  • Understanding of construction documents, drawings, and specifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Procore is an asset
  • Diploma or certificate in construction management or a related field is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Assist with project start-up activities, including tracking of initial contract documents required from trades
  • Manage and organize project documentation using Procore, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal standards
  • Coordinate weekly trade and consultant meetings, prepare and distribute meeting minutes, and track action items
  • Support communication between project stakeholders and team members to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and deliverables
  • Track and submit consultant, contractor and DCM labour invoices for review and approval
  • Create commitments in Procore
  • Assist with project forecasting, cost tracking, and change management documentation
  • Coordinate timely submission of change orders, CCNs, and supporting documentation, including trade costing input
  • Coordinate and manage shop drawings, and submittals – ensuring timely review, distribution, and tracking in Procore
  • Support drawing updates, markups, and consultant-issued Site Instructions and field reviews
  • Maintain and update drawing and specification logs, and submittal schedules
  • Coordinate project close-out documentation including O&M manuals, as-built drawings, warranties, and occupancy certificates
  • Prepare and maintain the close-out calendar and checklist and track key milestones and contractual requirements
  • Assist with warranty documentation and ongoing communication during the warranty period
