About The Position

We're hiring a Project Coordinator / Associate Project Manager to help keep our cross-functional teams aligned and projects on track as we push toward public launch. This role offers flexible title, time, and commitment, catering to full-time, part-time, side-gig, or fractional arrangements. As a funded startup racing toward launch, we need someone to coordinate moving pieces across engineering sprints, marketing campaigns, hiring, partnerships, and fundraising. The ideal candidate will track timelines, follow up on action items, run standups and syncs, maintain project boards, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. This is a role focused on information flow and coordination, not people management or product definition. A successful launch may lead to permanent job opportunities.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years in project coordination, project management, or a similar role
  • Extremely organized — you track dozens of tasks and deadlines without losing anything
  • Strong communicator — you can write a clear status update and run a focused meeting
  • Comfortable with project management tools (Asana, Monday, Notion, Jira, Trello, or similar)
  • Proactive — you follow up without being asked and flag issues early

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a startup or fast-moving environment
  • Familiarity with agile or sprint-based workflows
  • Background coordinating cross-functional teams (engineering + marketing + ops)
  • Comfortable in fast-moving, ambiguous environments

Responsibilities

  • Maintain project trackers — keep boards, timelines, and task lists current so everyone knows what's happening
  • Run standups and syncs — facilitate meetings that are focused, efficient, and end with clear action items
  • Follow up on action items — track who owes what by when, and flag anything that's slipping before it becomes a problem
  • Coordinate across teams — make sure engineering, marketing, ops, and leadership are aligned on priorities and timelines
  • Surface risks early — identify blockers, dependencies, and timeline risks before they become crises
  • Review current project management setup and understand how work is tracked
  • Meet team leads and understand their priorities and pain points
  • Take ownership of at least one project board or tracker and start cleaning it up
  • Run or observe first standup and gain a sense of the team's rhythm
  • Ensure the team knows who you are, why you're here, and how you'll work together

Benefits

  • Flexible Title
  • Flexible Time (full-time, part-time, side-gig, fractional)
  • Flexible Commitment (short-term, long-term, intermittent)
  • Potential for permanent jobs post-launch
  • Cash and equity components
  • Fractional or hourly arrangements welcome
