About The Position

Object Technology Solutions, Inc (OTSI) has an immediate opening for an Project Controls Sr Analyst. This role involves performing project controls assignments according to training, capability, and experience, with the expectation of assisting in larger and more complex assignments as experience grows. The analyst will need to understand EPC work processes and dependencies between functions, and develop project risk analysis skills. Key responsibilities include facilitating the development and maintenance of Level I/II schedules, leading schedule development and maintenance including fragnet identification and resource leveling, leading critical path and float analysis reporting, developing and maintaining earned value reports, and gaining an understanding of key cost control processes.

Requirements

  • Mastery of Primavera P6 is essential.
  • Deep understanding of network diagrams, leads, lags, and identifying the exact sequence of activities that drive the project end date (Critical Path Method - CPM Analysis).
  • Ability to link schedule progress with cost data to measure the actual performance of the project against its baseline (Earned Value Management - EVM).
  • Skill in breaking large, complex projects down into smaller, manageable, and trackable components (Work Breakdown Structure - WBS).
  • Identifying potential schedule delays and evaluating both threats and opportunities to project (Risk Analysis & Forecasting).
  • Ability to trace, document, and quantify the impact of changes in project scope on the overall timeline (Change Management).
  • Strategically assigning labor, equipment, and materials to ensure maximum efficiency without causing bottlenecks (Resource Allocation).

Nice To Haves

  • Four-year Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
