About The Position

The Project Controls Scheduler will work collaboratively with an external client and their project team to develop, manage, and control project schedules, reporting, and administration for utility-scale transmission energy projects in various life-cycle phases from development through commercial operation. Candidate must be able to work collaboratively with Project Management and the client’s project teams. Our Denver, CO location is preferred; remote locations considered.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant project scheduling experience in the utility, energy, construction, or engineering field.
  • Experience using Primavera P6 is desired.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with project management and client leadership.
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership, verbal/written communications, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to prepare clear and concise status updates and reports as required.
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to travel occasionally for project and client-related needs.
  • Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Primavera P6 is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, and update project schedules so that projects can be executed in the most efficient manner possible.
  • Manage numerous project schedules, evaluating critical path, schedule content, relationships and logic, constraints, and milestones.
  • Assess impacts to the schedule critical path activities; report deviations and variances and assist in developing action plans for corrective measures.
  • Track scope changes, trends , and variances that potentially affect schedule performance.
  • Track, manage, and report change control for project scope and schedule.
  • Present project schedules to project management, project teams and client leadership
  • Document and track project meeting actions as directed.
  • Attend and facilitate project/management meetings as required.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and project team
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership, verbal/written communication, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Consistently produce results that meet goals, have high work standards, and understand the business environment and processes.
  • Achieving results by problem-solving, setting priorities, and organization.
  • Additional duties may include tasks beyond what is listed, such as special projects, assisting colleagues, or new initiatives. A willingness to adapt to changing priorities and support team efforts enhances collaboration and growth opportunities.
