About The Position
PMA Consultants is seeking a Project Controls Scheduler for an exclusive assignment on-site at a client's facility in Detroit, Michigan. This role involves all aspects of scheduling and schedule control for a large construction project. Duties include schedule review, development, updates, progress monitoring, and cost forecasting. The Scheduler will frequently walk the project site to assess progress and validate schedule performance. The project schedule will be highly detailed and will likely be cost- and resource-loaded. This is an on-site position, and candidates local to the Detroit, Michigan area are preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or another engineering discipline, or a related field.
- 5+ years of project scheduling or project controls experience
- Hands-on scheduling experience with Oracle Primavera P6
- Experience developing, updating, and analyzing CPM schedules, including critical path and schedule variance analysis.
- Ability to work collaboratively with owners, contractors, and project stakeholders in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- Demonstrated capability with applicable software programs
