About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Capital Project Controls Manager to oversee multiple projects ranging from $500,000 to $20 million. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost analysis and schedule development during the construction phases of 5-15 concurrent projects. This role requires a strong understanding of project controls methodologies, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
5+ years of relevant industrial experience in project controls, cost management, or related roles within the engineering and construction industry.
Proven track record of managing multiple projects with budgets ranging from $500,000 to $20 million.
Strong self-starter that will take initiative to learn and ask questions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Must be proficient in P6
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Knowledge of project management best practices, methodologies, and industry standards.
Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
The selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor or Master degree in Construction Science, Building Science or advanced coursework is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee project controls for multiple capital projects, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule.
Conduct thorough cost analysis, including cost estimation, forecasting, and variance analysis through the construction phase.
Develop, maintain, and update project schedules, ensuring alignment with project milestones and deadlines.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to establish project control processes and reporting standards.
Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to senior management, highlighting potential risks and recommending corrective actions.
Implement and maintain project control tools and software to track project progress and financial performance.
Facilitate project meetings to review schedules, budgets, and performance metrics.
Prepare and present reports on project status, including financial performance and schedule adherence.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
