About The Position

MMR is seeking Project Controls Engineer candidates with a degree in Construction Management or industry related equivalent. The responsibilities would include, but not limited to, the following: Oversight on all engineers / leading PODs / other meetings. Lead and support Field Engineers. Oversight on equipment tracking, procurement, cost and budget adherence. Identify and resolve constructability issues and design interpretation. Manage EWOs, CORs, and budget adherence. Monitoring crew mixes and CMS employee allocation. Confirming time, production, and verifying PC reports are complete. Work with Construction Managements and Superintendents to provide constraints reports impacting productivity. Serve as the Construction Manager’s eyes on overall project health and escalate roadblocks to the Project Engineer for resolution. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor and upper management

Requirements

  • BS in Construction Management or related field
  • At least 3-5 years relevant work experience
  • Must have knowledge in estimating, scheduling, and purchasing
  • Ability to read and understand electrical drawing packages and specifications
  • Working knowledge of MS Office software
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, organize, problem solve, and exercise good judgement with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under time pressure and/or deadline
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible, varying hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Regular and reliable attendance at work

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in electrical and instrumentation construction preferred
  • Experience in industrial construction is preferred
