About The Position

Working from the project site, the Project Controls Field Engineer is responsible for collaborating with the project site team to execute project controls functions on large complex projects to increase visibility of project schedule, performance, and risks. Conducts regular progress walks of the site to ensure physical progress is correctly represented in the schedule and project controls system. Ideal candidates must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, have a general knowledge of the construction industry, analytical and problem solving skills, and have the ability to work independently and interact professionally with Project Managers, team leaders, and engineering staff.

Requirements

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • General knowledge of the construction industry
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and interact professionally with Project Managers, team leaders, and engineering staff
  • Four years of related experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Finance/Accounting

Responsibilities

  • Conducts site walks to verify physical progress
  • Updates schedules and project controls systems
  • Conducts ad hoc analyses to identify & present issues
  • Works with Subcontract partners progress measurement
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned
