About The Position

Enbridge has a Project Controls Advisor position that will provide cost monitoring, reporting and control services throughout the implementation phase of projects. This role will provide full Project Control Management, consisting of cost/schedule development and control during the full lifecycle of projects. The advisor will generate regular and ad hoc analysis including graphs, summary tables, and presentations. They will support the Project Engineer/Manager in managing the Project Scope by offering insight into scope definition, verification, change control, and the financial status of projects. This role involves working with internal teams to understand incurred field costs and collaborators for indirect costs and comparing against budget and monthly forecast values. The advisor will prepare expenditure profiles, work force histograms, comparative capital cost estimates for projects and total program monthly forecast summaries. Additionally, they will provide estimating support to other departments’ cost management for internal cost controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's University Degree or Technical Diploma in Engineering or Accounting related fields. Other post-secondary education may be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Project Controls or Project Management experience is required.
  • General understanding of pipeline and terminal operations.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, graphing, SUMIFS) and experience with MS Office Suite and Oracle/SAP systems.
  • Problem solving, decision-making, organization, planning and leadership skills.
  • Collaborative, team-focused, and customer-focused work style.
