About The Position

Atwell, LLC is seeking a Project Controller to manage project setup, billing, and budget tracking. This role involves supporting Project Managers with financial reporting, forecasting, and risk analysis, as well as communicating directly with clients regarding invoicing and billing. The Project Controller will oversee revenue recognition, collections, and ensure compliance with internal financial policies. This position requires applying independent judgment to prioritize tasks, resolve issues, and make sound financial decisions, as well as training and supporting project teams on financial best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Two (2) years or more of experience functioning in a similar capacity.
Must have experience with Deltek Vision/Vantage Point or similar Accounting ERP.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound financial decisions.

Responsibilities

Manage project setup, billing, and budget tracking in Deltek Vision/VantagePoint or similar ERP system
Support Project Managers with financial reporting, forecasting, and risk analysis to ensure project success
Communicate directly with clients regarding invoicing, billing questions, and other financial matters
Oversee revenue recognition, collections, and compliance with internal financial policies and procedures
Apply independent judgment to prioritize tasks, resolve issues, and make sound financial decisions
Train and support project teams on financial best practices to ensure consistency, accuracy, and efficiency across projects
