About The Position

Trissential is hiring a Project Controller/Coordinator to join our client's team in a high-visibility role supporting a Software Asset Management (SAM) organization through budgeting initiatives, purchasing processes, team restructuring efforts, and project execution. This role is primarily remote, with preferred locations in Minneapolis, MN or Denver, CO for periodic collaboration. The ideal candidate is highly organized, with a background in Software Asset Management, procurement, and operational coordination, and enjoys bringing structure to complex workflows, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and helping teams operate more efficiently.

Requirements

  • Approximately 5-7 years of relevant experience in project coordination, project analysis, Software Asset Management, procurement, sourcing, vendor management, or related business support roles
  • Hands-on experience supporting Software Asset Management programs and software purchasing activities
  • Experience working with ServiceNow, specifically SAM Pro and Contracts modules
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, purchase requests, purchasing life cycles, and PO management
  • Experience supporting project plans, status reporting, stakeholder communications, and project coordination activities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project
  • Experience using SAP and Jira in a business or project environment
  • Excellent organizational, communication, documentation, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • Equivalent combination of professional experience and education will be considered

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate budgeting-related activities and administrative processes supporting the Software Asset Management team
  • Assist with software procurement documentation, purchase validations, purchase requests, and purchase order (PO) workflows
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, timelines, risks, and status updates across multiple initiatives
  • Support implementation activities associated with the first phase of an organizational team restructure
  • Prepare and maintain project plans, dashboards, presentations, and status reports for leadership and stakeholders
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams, vendors, procurement partners, and project stakeholders
  • Monitor workflow progress and identify opportunities to improve coordination and operational efficiency
  • Support contract and software asset management processes utilizing ServiceNow and related enterprise systems
  • Assist with vendor coordination, sourcing activities, and purchasing lifecycle documentation
  • Maintain accurate project records and ensure compliance with established procurement and governance standards
