About The Position

As a Project Control Officer, you will play a crucial role in planning and monitoring projects to ensure they meet objectives on time and within budget. You will work closely with the project/agile leader, serving as the team's point person to help them achieve their performance objectives. You will be the go-to resource for project management tools, planning, and performance monitoring. As a specialist, you will provide expertise in your area, assisting the project/agile leader and their team in monitoring projects, programs, and groups of projects for efficiency. Your responsibilities will include planning, prioritizing, and coordinating work to meet objectives, anticipating issues and trends, suggesting solutions, and ensuring their implementation. You will leverage analysis and assessments to recommend innovative solutions, requiring extensive knowledge of your specialty. You will be the point person for implementing Project Delivery Office processes and requirements. This role involves managing highly complex projects and programs that demand solid analysis, a deep understanding of the organization and line of business, and the ability to navigate complexity, ambiguity, and multiple initiatives simultaneously. Strong coordination skills are essential, requiring frequent interaction with stakeholders across various fields. You will act as an integrator or coordinator with diverse work groups and will lead and serve as a specialist for teams, decision-making bodies, and external providers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor project scopes, budgets, and timelines to produce reports.
  • Anticipate, identify, and analyze trends and discrepancies, suggesting solutions to help the team meet performance indicators.
  • Assist the team with risk, issue, and document management.
  • Ensure project management best practices are followed.
  • Help the team update the timeline by tracking milestones and key dates for squads and contributors.
  • Monitor and analyze the plan, make resource capacity recommendations, and update the project plan.
