Clearance Requirement: Candidate must be able to obtain an Interim Secret clearance and be able to maintain a Secret clearance (or higher) throughout employment Work Location: Springfield, VA Work Schedule (On Site): Requires five (5) days onsite at the customer's facility with core hours from 9am to 3pm Position Overview: ZenPoint Solutions is seeking a Project Control Analyst with 1-2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects stay on schedule and within budget by providing analytical and administrative support to project managers and other stakeholders. Additional duties will include project management, focused on supporting project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and performance tracking.

Requirements

  • Candidate must be a United States Citizen and present proof of Citizenship, if selected
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office 365, and G Suite
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in project control or management is a plus but not required
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with financial analysis, including funding tracking, forecasting, and contract management
  • Ability to create professional documentation and deliver impactful presentations
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Planner
  • Strong focus and commitment to providing end user customer service

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs and expectations are consistently met throughout the project lifecycle
  • Accurately maintain and update spreadsheets, databases, and project management tools with timely information to support effective decision-making
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to timekeeping policies and procedures to ensure accurate tracking of project hours and resource allocation
  • Assist in organizing tasks, schedules, and documentation to enhance project efficiency and workflow management
  • Leverage tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, and Google Workspace (G Suite) to develop reports, create presentations, and collaborate effectively
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication abilities to clearly convey project updates, reports, and key findings
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support project goals, meet deadlines, and drive successful outcomes
