About The Position

We are seeking a Project Associate to join our research team, this is a hybrid position. This position supports a variety of research and project management activities, including data coordination, technical writing, and logistics for project implementation. The Project Associate plays a key role in supporting research initiatives, ensuring high-quality documentation, and facilitating collaboration across internal teams and external partners. Occasional travel and flexibility to meet project deadlines may be required. Chestnut Health Systems™ is a leading provider of integrated health care services. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social sciences OR Bachelor’s degree with relevant research experience
  • Demonstrated experience in research support, project coordination, or related field
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general research tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with technical writing and editing preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project files, including recruitment materials, literature reviews, data products, and data sharing agreements
  • Perform technical writing and editing for peer-reviewed publications, presentations, grant proposals, reports, and intervention materials
  • Conduct research and internet searches to support project needs, including guidelines, reference materials, and logistical planning
  • Assist in preparing, compiling, and organizing materials for reports, meetings, and trainings
  • Support project file management, ensuring accurate organization and distribution of documents
  • Assist with basic qualitative and quantitative data analysis in collaboration with research team members
  • Coordinate logistics for data collection and intervention activities, including scheduling, communications, travel, and venue arrangements
  • Support participant engagement activities, including consent processes and communication
  • Collaborate with project leadership to develop and implement research protocols and ensure consistency across team members
  • Assist with cross-training staff on project procedures and protocols
  • Travel as needed to support project activities, meetings, and trainings
