About The Position

The Project Associate, EPMO, supports the Project Management Office in planning, executing, and finalizing projects within strict deadlines and budget constraints. This role involves coordinating team efforts and third-party contractors to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Associate collaborates with project managers and leaders across global businesses, including manufacturing, operational excellence, commercial excellence, supply management, IT, and global business services. They engage in low to mid-level projects, navigating complex scopes, and assist in mid to high-level projects involving multiple integrated businesses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in project and process-related roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships and collaborating with global and diverse teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Technical skills for process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate project activities, resources, and information.
  • Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives, ensuring their needs are met as the project evolves.
  • Monitor and track project progress, handling any issues that arise and communicating status to all participants.
  • Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers and support complex projects.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for stakeholders.
  • Provide project management services to manufacturing and support integrated business areas.
  • Collaborate with S2 leadership to support transformation and day-to-day activities.
  • Utilize SPS Project Management methodology for project documentation, including Project Charter, WBS, resources, schedules, cost estimates, risk management, and P-SOWs.
  • Identify project needs and success criteria, addressing concerns around project slippage, risks, and resource issues.
  • Support the Change Management process for all projects.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
