About The Position
KTGY is seeking a Project Associate for their Chicago High Density studio. This role is designed to build the foundation of a career by developing fundamental design skills and an effective, collaborative design process. The Project Associate will gain exposure to and support multiple projects in various phases within the studio. This role calls for curiosity as the individual develops a personalized work approach aimed at creating groundbreaking designs that positively impact communities. The Chicago High Density studio specializes in complex urban infill sites as well as suburban development sites with a primary focus on multifamily, hospitality, and mixed-use buildings in the mid to high-rise typologies.
Requirements
- Must be within the 'Explore' career path phase.
- Must be curious and aim to create groundbreaking designs.
- Must be able to absorb the "how" and "why" of a studio's projects and goals.
- Must be able to understand project and studio team dynamics.
- Must be able to develop an understanding of what matters most in KTGY's design approach.
- Must be able to observe client dynamics and listen to project team discussions.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in architecture, interior design, branded environments, or urban design.
- Experience with multifamily, hospitality, and mixed-use buildings in mid to high-rise typologies.
- Experience with complex urban infill sites and suburban development sites.
