Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of job-related experience.
  • Prior experience working in social science research environment.
  • Relevant accounting and human resources skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SONA Systems, and Qualtrics research software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively through writing and speaking with a variety of audiences regarding highly sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to work with and provide support for multi-faceted projects; ability to manage and track budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Assist investigators with the planning, development and implementation of various research studies.
  • Serve as the contact person for external constituents which includes handling highly sensitive and confidential information.
  • Assist with participant recruitment, scheduling, record keeping. Collect, analyze, and archive data.
  • Assist with accounting, payroll; manages operating budget associated with grant funding.
  • Supervise students and any part-time staff assigned to projects. Hire, train, and discipline assigned personnel.
  • Assist investigators with meeting publication submission deadlines and annual report deadlines.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
