Browning Day is seeking Mid to Senior Project Architects to join their team and contribute to a diverse range of projects including civic, cultural, faith-based, healthcare, higher education, hospitality, mixed-use, preservation and reuse, sports and wellness, and workplace sectors. The role involves executing construction phases, developing technical viewpoints for clients, and serving as a subject matter expert. Key responsibilities include overseeing the construction administration phase (responding to RFIs, ASIs, shop drawings, field site reviews, and reports), leading project teams through construction documents and site visits, selecting and specifying materials, coordinating project quality, schedule, and performance with other disciplines, and maintaining positive client relationships. The position also involves advising Project Managers on schedule and consultants, coordinating programming efforts, managing project schedules and budgeted hours, coordinating consultants and contractors, corresponding with internal and external parties, assisting with meeting notes, promoting innovative and sustainable design solutions, implementing QA/QC reviews, mentoring project teams, and participating in marketing and business development opportunities.
