NBBJ Seattle is seeking an experienced and technically proficient Interiors Project Architect to enhance and expand our Seattle Interiors practice. This role will concentrate on key corporate workplace accounts, fostering repeat-client relationships, and managing projects that range from strategic tenant improvements to complex corporate campuses. The Interiors Project Architect is responsible for architectural design and development work for projects involving the construction of new building interiors and the alteration of existing buildings and facilities. This position serves as a crucial link between the design vision and its successful execution in built form. The ideal candidate will possess technical leadership skills, proficiency in Revit/BIM, expertise in code-compliant detailing, experience in consultant coordination, and sound judgment in construction administration, enabling design teams to deliver highly coordinated, high-quality interiors for discerning corporate clients. This is envisioned as more than just a production role; NBBJ is looking for a project architect who can become a trusted technical advisor to designers, project managers, consultants, contractors, and client stakeholders. The role will contribute to improving delivery consistency, supporting long-term account growth, mentoring junior staff, and safeguarding design intent throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to construction.
