About The Position

We are seeking a proactive and strategic Project and Facilities Lead to manage the day-to-day operations and long-term evolution of our Ice Cream division’s office and R&D footprint in Englewood Cliffs. This role includes overseeing an upcoming office renovation project. The location supports approximately 240 employees across Ice Cream, encompassing its office, pilot plant, and lab environments. You will serve as the primary steward of the physical workspace, ensuring seamless operations, enabling innovation in technical environments, and driving transformation that reflects our brand, culture, and business ambitions.

  • 5+ years of experience in facilities management, workplace services, or corporate real estate, ideally within a CPG or technical environment.
  • Proven ability to lead office transformations, renovations, or lab/pilot plant upgrades.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.
  • Experience supporting R&D or technical environments, with working knowledge of lab infrastructure and compliance standards.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience working with external partners such as CBRE, Sodexo, and architectural or engineering firms.
  • Familiarity with global workplace standards and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Ice Cream division and Workplace Services and Sodexo teams.
  • Respond to and resolve ad hoc facilities inquiries from Ice Cream employees with speed and professionalism.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and functionality across all workspaces.
  • Coordinate building communications and contingency planning in the event of disruptions or emergencies.
  • Develop and present proposals that reflect the operational needs, brand identity, and employee experience goals of the Ice Cream division.
  • Ensure all space planning incorporates safety, sustainability, and compliance, especially within lab and pilot plant zones.
  • Partner with R&D, SHE (Safety, Health & Environment), and Engineering teams to maintain high-performing, compliant technical environments.
  • Coordinate with Sodexo and internal stakeholders to support equipment installations, infrastructure upgrades, and layout optimization.
  • Manage vendor relationships for specialized services such as HVAC, compressed air, lab utilities, and waste disposal.
  • Ensure adherence to EH&S protocols and support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, including HR, IT, Workplace Services, and leadership.
  • Collaborate effectively with external teams, including CBRE, Sodexo, and architect/design teams.
  • Act as the voice of the Ice Cream team in all workplace-related matters.
  • Communicate updates, changes, and improvements clearly and proactively.
