As a Project & Commissioning Engineer, you will join our team in Cranberry Township, PA and lead project engineering and commissioning of Distributed Control System projects for the Renewables industry. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a similar technical educational curriculum, or significant relevant experience in lieu of education
  • 2+ years of related experience in an engineering environment
  • Ability to work in both an office and field setting, depending on project execution phase
  • Ability to travel up to 20% in North America
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States -sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering
  • Previous experience working with control systems in addition to prior commissioning experience
  • Experience in Renewables Industry

Responsibilities

  • Support the engineering design, execution, and commissioning of renewable energy and Battery Energy Storage System projects.
  • Serve as a trusted technical resource for customers by providing engineering expertise and facilitating effective communication between customer teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and support installation, startup, testing, and commissioning activities for control systems and associated equipment.
  • Develop, maintain, and track project schedules and commissioning plans to support successful project delivery.
  • Communicate project status, priorities, risks, and resource requirements to stakeholders in a timely and proactive manner.
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams to optimize resources and support project objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes, execution efficiency, and knowledge sharing across projects.
  • Partner with customers, architectural and engineering firms, contractors, and internal teams to develop solutions that address customer challenges.
  • Contribute to the development, review, and enhancement of operational and field documentation based on project experience and lessons learned.
  • Support a culture of safety, quality, continuous improvement, and customer success throughout project execution.
