About The Position

Seeking a Project Analyst to provide support to Headquarters United States Air Force Strategic Deterrence and Nuclear Integration, Nuclear Systems Integration Division (AF/A10XC). Qualified candidate will work with a team on complex and high level strategic planning and event tracking. Work will be performed onsite in the Arlington, VA area (Pentagon). Duties and Responsibilities: Contribute to the development of the Nuclear Enterprise Analytics Dashboard and Integrated Master Schedules lines of effort. Advise developers on Maintenance Information Systems raw data definitions, codes, and calculations. Perform quality assurance functions after developers modify the dashboard product. Assist with mapping the progress of major Air Force acquisitions and the integration of these platforms and systems into operational Air Force bases. Capture and merge program, system, construction, training, and operational schedules into high-level integrated master schedules using MS Project or similar project scheduling programs. Recognize and portray inter-dependencies and critical paths to achieving operational capabilities. Generate graphic and text products that support daily use and senior leader decision-making.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with data management, analytic, and MS Office products
  • Knowledge of Department of Defense organizations and functions
  • BA/BS and six years of experience or MA/MS and four years of experience in DoD or Federal staff or Headquarters support
  • Minimum of two years of experience in Project Management
  • Experienced in Air Force aircraft metrics and analysis (AFSC 2R2X1 or equivalent).
  • Well-versed in Technical Orders that govern metrics collection and computation
  • Able to synthesize and distill large data sets into digestible products and reports for Air Force senior leadership

  • DoD staff or Headquarters support experience
